Tabernacle Of Glory
It's been a really long while since i updated haha! Sorry bout dat :P I've been qutie busy with much things and physically tired as well, plus i didnt feel an urge to blog nor had much motivation to do so~
Nevertheless, i just wanna say dat the past 2 weeks ever since Pastor Kong started us on the church wide bible study on the Tabernacle, wow it's been such a blessing! I must say dat this is the first time i really studied about the significance of the tabernacle and all dat it contains. Previously, reading about the tabernacle in the bible was kinda taxing and boring because i didnt understand much of what it meant.
After going through 2 weeks of bible study on it, i must say dat the whole concept of the tabernacle is such a beautiful gift from God. Only God could have come up with something so unique and perfect! It's hardcore stuff really and not easily understood. To fully grasp the whole idea of it requires more than just a knowledge from the physical senses, it requires revelation from the Holy Spirit and yet even more, it requires you to experience approaching God in the prescribed manner, to experience Him to understand it well :)
It's such a wonderful thing to learn about it, to study it and even more so to experience it :) I'm very thankful that Pst Kong put in so much effort so dat we can learn about it from him :) I'm looking forward to the last installment next week! I know it's just gonna be superb man~ Yeah~
Recently, my brother and i bought a PS 2. And yeah, my bro and i, there are some things in life whereby we are the best of partners. Computer games are one of them. We were playing Dynasty Warriors 5 and yeah i must admit dat he's the best person to play it with because he and i click very well in the way we navigate the map, strategise who kills what and who goes where etc etc and we help one another build up our characters in the game~
It's a great way to build up relationship with him, by working together on a common subject, having a common goal~ Yeap, so you see, computer games arent such a bad thing at all~ At least i know they've brought me closer together with my bro~ :D
These past few days, i was thinking about the message Pst shared last weekend, about unleashing the glory within you. I'm glad there's gonna be a free copy dat comes with my order of the tabernacle bible study cds! haha! Yeah, so i've been thinking about it, and i got reminded about something dat took place a few weeks back in church.
I met a friend whom i had not seen in a few weeks and the first thing this guy said to me was that he had just been talking about me with another cgl. And so i was surprised and i asked what about me that they were talking about.. And then he laughed and said that they were talking about how i was a living testimony in my life.
When i heard dat, i got even more surprised and this time i felt really honoured. The bible tells us to let our light aka our glory, shine before men, that they may see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven! And i praise God, because people make mention of the glory they see within me. I'm not a perfect person, but i know my position in Christ and He is my strength and confidence.
Every now and then, i ask myself just how much more i can be a blessing to the people around me, to the nations~ And i wanna challenge myself to be a person filled with glory! It's no fun living life just for yourself. When you live it for God and for others, you open up a whole new dimension in life whereby you see heaven's windows open up over you and you experience tremendous blessing and goodness from the Lord! Yeap, dat's my life :) Not exactly a bed of roses, cos i get my share of trials and tribulations, but in all these things, i can still lift my hands to heaven and praise God for all the good things that he had done, is doing, and will do for me in my life.
It's great to be a blessing. The greatest blessing that we have from God is our very own life, cos He gave us new life in Christ. And He calls us to live a life dat blesses others. I bless, therefore I am. I glorify, therefore I am glorified by my Father in heaven~
