Yeap, this is the song dat's playing in the background~ By the Christian City Church youth band~ Fantastic! The first time i heard this song i was like, hey U2! Hahah! They really sounded like U2, especially in the opening intro and the subsequent verse; it's the bassline i think.

Anyway, yeah i just came back from celebrating my dad's birthday. Went to this Northern Indian restaurant called Omar Sharif Restaurant along 6th Avenue. The food was great, but the service was better! 2 thumbs up for the service! The waiter dat served us was excellent!

Before dat was the adult zone meeting~ Yeap at the YMCA. The night before was hectic. After CG, i packed up the whole drum set, every single bit and transported it down to mervyn's house where i put up for the night. Then the next morning we headed down to YMCA to set up shop at around 12.15pm.. Yeah, i tell you, it's killer assembling and tearing down a drumset and then you still gotta shift to somemore.. yeah but it was worth every single drop of perspiration! Praise God~

Pastor commented on my playing, said i played well and he wanted me to play again for the upcoming meeting on the 15th next month~ And i just said, PRAISE THE LORD! hahah! Yeah i am very excited and eager to serve my best :D Anyway personally rite, i felt i could have played better and flowed better. Yeah, perhaps i was a little nervous and feeling a little uncomfortable.. but yeah, i was very happy with the sound of the drums which i took a whole night to tune to get the best resonant tone out of it. The result? PURE PRISTINE TONE WITH OMPH! Man, i cant describe it, you gotta hear it yourself..

All i can say is dat i personally felt the tone was like dat of a professional set up~ If it was miked up it would be perfect! But yeah, all these years of playing drums and tuning them, i can honestly declare that i have never ever tuned a better tone out of a drumset as with this current drumset of mine. I was especially happy with the tuning la haha! But yeah, all thanks to the guidance of the Holy Spirit honestly! Without Whom i would never ever be able to tune out such a good tone~ Yea, thank God for dat~

I'm extremely exhausted.. havent slept well the entire week.. yeah.. and been up late because of ministry commitments and all and driving around alot has been straining my mind as well.. BUT yeah, i tell you, i'll give anything to do it :D It's a joy amidst the exhaustion~ Tired in doing it but NEVER tired of doing it! Hallelujah~
