Anointed Worship
So many things have been happening over the weekend~ Good things of cos :D
Just to let you guys know, i'm officially a part of the music ministry since yesterday haah! yeah, went for the drummer's training session conducted by bro Tan Boon, and it was really an eye opener. Whatever he shared with us about music, drums, life, God.. yeah, really opens up a new perspective towards my looking at music :D
Really enjoyed the session and found it really productive and fruitful. I learnt many things, and yeap i auditioned there and then. Two songs, 'One' and 'Cry'. And yeap, it was good! Haah!
It all happened in God's best time :D Yeah, and over the week i gained yet another drum student :D yeap, it's a privilege for me really, to be able to impart wat i know to another person. Yeap, praise God :D
I attended the dialect service over the weekend. It was a last minute thing. Mervyn asked me to observe how the dialect svc band played and so yeah i did. It was a gd decision~ I didnt understand much of wat was going on in the praise and worship or the message, BUT it was really gd because it forced me to focus on the Holy Spirit Himself. And throughout the whole svc and the worship, i just felt the presence of God so strongly all over.. yeah, the feeling is awesome man i tell u.. :D
So it really goes to show dat, it is not about whether you understand a language or not, or watever you know or don't.. it's really all about the presence of God. It's about the anointing. Without dat, you can have the best music and best sermons being preached but you will never change lives within, because only the Holy Spirit has the power to change the lives of ppl. So it truly is all about Jesus, all about Him~ about His Holy Spirit~ And the anointing of God is something we all must pursue. And dat is achieved through worship because the Spirit of God travels through an atmosphere of worship. The more you worship God, dwell in His presence, the more He gives you His anointing in your life :)
