Remember Us!
I tell you.. God remembers. Period. Man WILL forget, but God ALWAYS remembers. And this very day today 23rd July 2005, God blessed me with a car through my dad :D And guess wat, i havent even got my license to drive.. YET :P HAHAH! How cool is dat huh?
Well, ok we both decided not to get a new car for me to drive for various reasons, BUT we did test drive the car before we decided on it and man i tell you, even though it was a 2nd hand, but the engine was as smooth as silk! And teh gear shift.. wah i tell you.. you could move it with your little pinky finger with the least effort! And dun get me started on how cold the aircon was ok..
I am very satisfied with this car. It's a Nissan Sunny 1.6 Manual gear transmission car but looks sporty~ There was only one previous owner and he took real good care of the car so dat explains why the car drives so well :D The engine is quiet, the acceleration is powerful.. The owner was probably some sports car loving enthusiast so dat explains some of the sporty interior modifications.
Well, overall it's a fantastic car which just needs a re-painting job to make it look brand new~ Yeah and the car dealers will take care of dat :D Mechanically wise, the car scores top marks. Only in the aesthetics department does it suffer a little~ But dat's a real minor problem. I'm really looking forward to bringing it back home and when i do, i'll definitely take some snap shots of it and post it up here~ HAHA! Yeah, it's my first car so dat's pretty significant in a guy's life. Trust me, 99.9% of guys LOVE CARS, and i make up part of dat percentage :P
Well, cars aside, i also went for make up cg at Tommy's house in Redhill. And yea we had like steamboat and bbq after the whole meeting! I ate till full yeah haha! was pretty hungry the whole day eating minimal and yeah i enjoyed their fellowship and all~ Thank God for that :D
Well, i just wanna say to all of us at CHC, dat even amidst this time of sacrificial sowing to build God's house, let us continue to be generous in our giving. And not only in our finances, but in our time, our effort, our talents, our knowledge etc etc, let us continue to give the best of our abilities!
I tell you, we may sow in tears and sweat and maybe even blood, but when we reap, we reap a bountiful harvest SO GREAT, the joy dat overtakes us will be so overwhelming, it will overflow out of our lives and will impact our frens and families around us! You see, as we now sow a sacrificial offering unto God, dun ever forget this; you are storing up for yourselves loads of treasure in heaven! And that treasure is where moth and rust CANNOT destroy, where thieves CANNOT break in and steal!
But also, Pst always tells us dat wat is true in the spiritual realm, is also true in the natural. And if this is true, (and i sure believe it is) then you dun have to wait till you get to heaven to be rich. You can be rich now! Right now in this lifetime on earth, you can be a rich person in wealth, in influence and in knowledge and character! You can be a person of utmost excellence! Because God has given us the ability to become better than the average person! And it all starts, when you learn how to give up the precious in your life. Slowly but surely, you are building up a character and capacity and qualifying yourself to be a steward of greater things which God will place into your hands!
So let's continue to bless and give, you can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving, and if we are called to love God wholeheartedly and love ppl fervently, then we must GIVE! In watever dat we have as stewards of God, let us give unto Him and unto others something dat is worthy, for when you give to others, Jesus says dat for wat you have done for these ppl, you have done for Him also. Yeap so let's become a ppl of blessing, and leave our legacy as a church, as a ppl who are great givers and sacrificers :D Let's impact our marketplace today :D
I wanna leave this post with a song which has been impacting me these past few days.. The first time i heard this song was during my KL mission trip last August and it was sung in Chinese. And will never forget how anointed dat whole worship session was! I really love this song and yeah so much so dat i went to download the chords and all and started playing them on the piano. Yeah this is it:
