To Inspire And Be Inspired
Before i begin, i believe some of you must be wondering why i have such a sappy korean love song playing on my blog.. Well, to satisfy your curiosity once and for all... i have NOT fallen in love or sumthing.. HAHAHAHA! No no no.. not at all~ :P the reason why i put up such a song is simply because i like it~ Yeah as simple as dat :P Now STOP SPECULATING! :P
Recently, while i was talking to some frens online, someone told me dat i inspired her member and herself~ And i was actually very pleasantly surprised because it's been a long time since someone told me dat :) And yeah, i just wanna praise God for dat because inspiring ppl is one of the main things i live for. It's one of those leader traits in me dat always want to come forth! haha! And i thank God because i know He gave me certain traits of which i am to use to impact ppl~
You know.. if you can inspire ppl, dat means u have the ability to influence the way ppl think, the way ppl live their lives. You can change behaviours and attitudes. You can build character in others :) And dat's a real powerful thing when you break it down to its essence. If you can change one man's thinking and empower him to reach out and grab the purpose God has for him, then you have in your hands a potential world shaker and history maker! And dat's how you lead ppl to God, by encouraging them and showing them dat God has a will for them to live even better, more fulfilling lives! In short, you are being a conversionist!
As i blogged in an earlier post, everyone NEEDS to experience God for themselves. Jesus has touched me in such a way dat i can never imagine myself going back to my old life.. i cant.. when i look back and compare my past life with my present.. i think i really stood at a losing end back then.. never truly happy, never satisfied emotionally, aimless, void, oppressed, stressed, having defeat after defeat yeah the list is endless. After i got borned again.. wow, it's like exactly as the bible says; my mind gets renewed as i study more about the Word, my life gets better as i apply principles dat i learn in the bible, i became a whole lot more generous (i was real stingy ok..)!! These are but a few of the many changes dat i have experienced~
Recently i was thinking about my ministry. I've no formal ministry in church. But i use my musical talents to serve in cg meetings etc~ But i need to serve in a formal ministry someday soon~ So i was thinking about it, and yeah it seems very inevitable dat i am being led to the CG ministry.. It's the perfect ministry whereby i can inspire and be inspired, to teach and to learn, to encourage and be encouraged, to empower and be empowered!
Supposing i have a cg rite, I've realised dat if i can empower the ppl in that group, help them to realise their full potential as children of God and assist them in becoming wat God has purposed for them to become, then i have a whole group of powerful potential world shakers! With dat kinda power from the Holy Spirit, nothing will be impossible! And in my opinion, dat is how every cg in CHC should be :) If every member reaches his/her fullest potential and whose hearts are 101% for God, i tell you, there is nothing that God cannot use us to do!! We will change the entire world in our generation!
When i die, i wanna leave behind a legacy dat will never be forgotten~ Yea, but most importantly, when i die and get to heaven, i wanna hear the words from God's own mouth, 'Well done good and faithful servant!'
