He's Just Not That Into You~

Watched the movie yet? I haven't, but i heard it's really gd :) So maybe i'll catch it somewhere somehow even though it's quite overdue hah~

Well.. Sometimes it's really hard to be honest, or rather it is really hard sometimes to be tactfully honest :)

Honesty can really hurt sometimes especially if it is said in a very untactful manner.. Fact of the matter is, sometimes certain circumstances put us in a very very tight situation whereby it's harder than not to be tactful while being totally honest. Understand so far? :) Good..

And i'm finding myself caught in such a situation now.. Well, how do i even begin to say wat i am gonna say? Well, i just pray dat God will give me wisdom to speak the truth in a gentle manner.. :)


OKIE here we go..

I once mentioned in a recent blog post about my views on dating.. :) or asking someone out on one to one dates.. so just to recap:

1. I will never ask a member of the opposite sex out on a one on one date if i have no romantic interest in her. Period. :)

2. By dat same token, i will never accept a one on one date with a girl if i have no romantic interest in her. Period.


I just wanna state for the record, that when it comes to dating, i have very very strong principles dat i have placed in my life, to protect myself. These principles are arrangements or covenants if u'd like, that i have made with God in my quest to finding a partner in life.

By the grace of God, i have remained and continue to be, true to those principles :)

Now i may sound like some old fashioned, conservative, wet blanket, anti-social, spoiled sport..etc etc, call me watever you wanna call me, it's fine by me :) I've got only one life to live, and i intend to be accountable for it.

I dun date girls i am not interested in pursuing a relationship with, simply because right from the outset, i gotta make it clear to them that:

1. I view this whole idea of dating very seriously. It is sacred to me.
2. I will seek to kill any sort of slightest hint that i may perceive of the possibility of giving you a wrong impression. Period.
3. I simply do not believe in leading a girl on, messing with her feelings. Period.

I am very friendly and nice to everybody, male or female :) But i've found out that sometimes, beyond my control, that that friendliness could be misunderstood as a sign of romantic interest..

So i think it is necessary to set the record straight. So please don't misunderstand me :) If i am kind and gentlemanly to a girl, it doesn't necessarily mean i am interested in her. No, i am just being wat a real man should be, and dat is to treat his neighbour with respect and love. It doesn't mean i wanna marry her :) thanks..

So back to dating, you will never find me dating more than 2 girls at a time. SORRY, but dat just does not work for me. I am vehemently against any sort of dat kinda dating. Dat to me, is cheating on someone's feelings. I know some ppl take a different view to dat, and say dat you should go out on dates with the opposite sex, get to know them one on one blah blah blah :) well, if you believe in dat approach, go ahead, each is entitled to his opinion. I respect dat, but i dun subscribe to dat. I'm a one woman only kinda person, and i have no intention of doing otherwise. I have effectively kissed dating goodbye :)

In this current phase of my life, i will be honest and say dat my heart is unavailable, it is busy, it is occupied, it is not open to anyone. How ever that statement is interpreted is up to the reader :)

So, if any girl asks me out on a date for dinner or coffee, my answer will be obvious :) Let your 'yes' be 'yes' and 'no' be 'no'.

It's not dat i am not open to making frens, no. I am just not open to one on one dating now :) yeah~ I am happy, very happy in fact at my current phase in life, and i am not trading it for anything in the world :D


Alright, dat's it.. something i really needed to get off my chest.. :) I shall blog about my KL mission trip soon.. yeah 'mission' trip hahhaha! You'll find out soon :)
