MIssion KL

Praise God! It was an extremely great success! Indeed the harvest is plentiful but the labourers
are few.. Every single City harvester MUST go for one of these trips. IT WILL, i guarantee,
WILL change your life :D

This is quite a late post, considering i came back to SG like 2am on Wednesday morning and
today's like Saturday~ but nevertheless, i all things, situations and circumstances praise God :D
Wow, i really wanna thank God first of all for answering my prayer to allow me to go for a
mission trip just before i go to NS, and i tell you, GOD ANSWERS PRAYER :D the prayer of a
righteous man, God answers, amen? AMEN!

If i didnt go to KL on a mission trip like this, i think i wouldnt have bothered about the work
that God is doing in Msia :D i mean like, you gotta experience it there in order to to see the
great work dat God is doing in 2 pastors of 2 churches in the region! Going on this trip has
really given me a heart for the church in Msia :) i came away from the trip with great memories
and even greater relationships forged between the church youth, the church workers, and of
cos the senior pastors themselves~

The mission trip was best summed up as this: A great time of blessing and being blessed, a
great time of ministering and being ministered to as well :D

Yeah~ dat sums it up! but of cos~ i'm not stopping here heheh~ i got lots to say~ Some of the
things dat really touched me during the trip was the tremendous amount of passion and fire
the youth there in Msia have for Jesus Christ! I'm like WOWOWOWOW.. you know.. heheh~
The way they praise and worship, the way they pray in Spirit and understanding, the way
they reach out to their friends.. wowowowow.. amazing man! And man, they were so hospitable
towards us! For instance, they always INSISTED on paying for our food, they arranged
transport for us everywhere.. etc etc.. and these guys are only youth leh.. the bulk of them are
like youth like myself! And all these in the midst of their building fund for the church! Some as
young as like wat 11, 12? AND THEY ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE BUILDING FUND!!
MAN! I tell you, God is gonna prosper them tremendously and they are not gonna have room enough to receive it! AMEN!

i'm so encouraged and inspired by some of these youth.. 19, 20 years old and guess wat.. They
are attending the Fast Track Pastor's course in the City Harvest Bible Training Centre! WAH!
19 years of age beat dat! Wow, i tell you.. there is nothing better than to serve God in the best
days of your youth!!!! Pity i only realised it when i was 19 years of age but hey, it's not too late!
At least rite now, man i wake up everyday and i have a purpose to live! I dun need to worry
about tmrw simply becos i got the best insurance and assurance in the world that is Christ Jesus
Himself :D

Another thing i wanna really thank God for is the opportunity of working with Pastor Joshua
Mah :) This guy is not a muscular tall guy.. no.. he's small in size and shorter than i am. His
physique is really small man.. but i tell you, the presence of God that he carries is so
great that man.. you cannot help but feel reverence and respect for this great man of God!
Wow, you can practically feel the Oil flowing out of him! Rivers and rivers of living Oil! Man, i tell
you the presence of the Holy Spirit in his life is so evident! So powerful! I CAN FEEL IT! HAHA!
Wow, and he is a great faith preacher as well~ and a very talented musician as well praise God!

Those of us who worked with him extensively grew really really close to him and we really were
inspired and touched and blessed by him in so many different ways. Personally, he is like a
great brother, father figure and leader that i really look up to and want to emulate! I mean,
looking at the way he moves in signs and wonders... WOW! POWERFUL! And he taught us his
'secret'. His secret to getting this great Oil from God, this great anointing! So i wun be selfish
and keep it for myself but tell you guys about it~ So get ur pens and notebooks out now! heheh!

Receiving The Anointing To Move In Signs And Wonders!

Yes the title of my erhem.. 'message' heheheh~ so here goes:

1. PRAYING STRONGLY IN TONGUES!

This ranks the top lah basically. The first point dat Pst Joshua told us. He gave this illustration:
Supposing you are like an electric kettle. When you pray in tongues, it is NOT you who pray,
but it is the Holy Spirit who gives you utterance as the bible says!

And becos the Holy Spirit give you utterance, you should feel like you're going strong as you
continue praying for long hours. Ok, back to the electric kettle. Now, when the kettle is turned
on, current flows from the main socket and right into the coil which then heats up the water in
the kettle. Similarly, when you pray in tongues, you receive the Holy Spirit into your body from
God. And the longer you 'boil' the water, the hotter it gets rite? Same thing, the amount of hours
you spend praying strongly in tongues, is the amount of hours which your Spiritman is built up.
Dat is the anointing you receive :D it is directly proportionate :D

Now, let me set the record straight. The devil all these long years, has tried to stop ppl from
praying in tongues. he has painted this picture of speaking in tongues as something weird,
unbiblical, hocus pocus, fearful etc etc.. and the truth is, he has been doing a pretty good job at
dat becos many christians today do not pray in tongues and they do not believe in speaking in
tongues! How sad!

But the devil knows.. and he is AFRAID!! Becos he knows the power of praying in tongues! Becos when you pray in tongues, it is the HOLY SPIRIT that is praying in you! As the Spirit gives you utterance! Now this takes you into the spiritual realm and when you pray in tongues, i tell you the demonic forces and satan himself are shaking and trembling in their pants (if they do indeed wear pants..) so hard that they will flee!!!! IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!!!! Hallelujah!!

Nevertheless, nowhere in the bible does it say dat praying in tongues is evil, nor does it say dat
prayin in tongues is weird or hocus pocus.. NO! NO NO NO! EVen the great apostle Paul himself,
said to the Corinthian church, 'I thank God dat i pray in tongues more than you all.' HEY! i didnt
say dat! The great apostle Paul himself said so!!

Now think about it, if tongues was bad for us, DO U SUPPOSE THAT GOD OUR FATHER,
OUR DEAREST HEAVENLY, GOOD FATHER, WOULD TELL US TO DO IT???? OF COS NOT!
God my friends, is not a God that He should lie! Becos the bible says dat God, is a GOOD God!
AND.. a GOOD God, gives His children GOOD GIFTS! One of these gifts, is speaking in tongues!
He gives us this special privilege whereby ALL His children can pray to Him in the Spirit! This is different from THE Gift of Tongues which is speaking in a totally different language which one
does not know but yet another can understand.. i wun go into dat here~

Bottomline, speaking in tongues CANNOT be a bad thing BECAUSE, if the nature of God, as the
bible says.. IS GOOOOOD... THEN.. GOD CANNOT GIVE US BAD GIFTS! Period! Case close!

Let's go back to the first point, yes.. Ok Pst Joshua shared with us that he would pray for 6 hours everyday for 2 years straight! Dat was in his earlier days as a pastor. And he told us, that he was so into the spirit realm.. dat when he closed his eyes, he could see demonic forces floating all around him as clearly as when he sees things when his eyes were open!! Dat is how powerful speaking in tongues will take you to! WOW!

In conclusion.. and i have got like 5 more points to go.. speaking in tongues, is CRUCIAL if you wanna receive the anointing to move in signs and wonders! if you wanna heal the sick, if you wanna pray for ppl and let them fall under the power of the Holy Spirit, and many other wonders, then start praying strongly in tongues!

2. Worshipping In Tongues!

Now this is especially important as well. To move in signs and wonders, you have got to lift the ppl up into dat spiritual level, and wat do i mean? Ok, Pst Joshua taught us this from the book of Genesis chapter 1 verse 2b-3 [And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.]

Now a few things are happening here. Firstly the bible says, the Spirit of God, HOVERED.. :) See dat?? yeah~ wat does dat mean? Now, in the service, we worship and then the presence of God comes into the place and then we all feel dat powerful presence of God. Dat, is the Spirit of God HOVERING in the place! The ppl can feel the presence of God in the place and dat is wat is meant by lifting them up into dat spiritual realm.

Second thing, wat did the bible say? It says God SAID! God SPOKE! God spoke let there be light! And there was light!! God, did a miracle! God just spoke! And there was light! Similarly, when the ppl are lifted into this state, when the Spirit of God is hovering around them.. And when you heal, they shall be healed and when you say 'FALL!', they will fall under the powerful presence of the Spirit of the Almighty God! In the Name of Jesus Christ! Shout Amen Hallelujah!

So yes, in order to lift ppl up to this spiritual level, this state.. we always worship in the spirit :) Worship is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! It brings in the presence of God into the place!

2nd conclusion, if you wanna receive the anointing to move in signs and wonders, then worship God in Spirit and in Truth! Worship Him in tongues!

3. Communing With The Holy Spirit!

What does this mean? Simple, it just means talking to God! It is conversing with the Holy Spirit! Every single day, every single moment you got when you're alone.. just talk to the Holy Spirit! Tell Him all your cares and woes, all your hearts desires, all dat you wanna thank Him for etc etc!

Communing with the Holy Spirit will make you grow in sensitivity to His voice!

4. Do Nothing That Displeases The Holy Spirit!

Yes.. Pst Joshua was sharing with us about wat he learnt from Benny Hinn, the great faith preacher. During one of his rallies, a relative of Benny Hinn whom he hadnt met up for a very long time wanted to meet up over lunch.. As Benny was about to leave his hotel to meet this relative, suddenly the Holy Spirit spoke to Benny and said to him, 'Come and commune with Me.'

Benny Hinn then told the Holy Spirit dat he really wanted to meet up with this relative whom he hadnt seen for so long! So, anyway he went to meet the relative. Dat night, during the rally, try as he might, Benny Hinn could not perform any miracle at all! The congregation was puzzled. They expected to see something but the presence of God was not present dat night! Benny Hinn thus cut short the rally and when he went back to his hotel room dat night, he broke down and cried before the Holy Spirit and he repented of his disobedience.

The following night, he did many powerful miracles in the Name of Jesus Christ! Hallelujah! So the bottomline is, when the Holy Spirit calls you to do something.. once.. twice.. three times..! DO IT! JUST DO IT!!! NEVER DISPLEASE THE HOLY SPIRIT!!

5. Mixing With Anointed People!

What this means, is mixing around people who have the strong anointing to move in signs and wonders! Learn from them, talk to them, keep in touch with them if you do know someone like dat! What Pst Joshua does is dat he learnts via videos about powerful faith preachers like Benny Hinn and his other mentors like Pst Kong etc etc~

As you mix with such people, their anointing rubs off onto you!

And last but not least, my last point:

6. The Word Of God!

Simply put, this is reading the bible every day and immensing yourself in the written Word of God or 'Logos' in Greek terms :D Speaking in tongues, communing with the Holy Spirit, worshipping in tongues, mixing with anointed people.. these things will enable the Holy Spirit to speak to you through the Greek 'Rhema' or 'Spoken Word' of God.

But besides receiving the Rhema from God, you need to submit yourself to the authority of the bible, that is, submit yourself to the Logos of God! Read your bible!

In conclusion, if you wanna receive the anointing to move in signs and wonders, you need to speak in tongues! You need to worship in tongues! You need to commune with the Holy Spirit! You need to mix with people who have this anointing! You must not do anything to displease the Holy Spirit! And lastly, you need to submit yourself to the authority of the Logos!

Remember, we do not go after signs and wonders.. NO! Not at all! But signs and wonders will follow us when we do these things faithfully :D There is great sacrifice to be made, but God is a GOOD God! Hallelujah!
