I just finished reading the prospectus of the School Of Creative Arts in Oxford
Falls, Christian City Church in Australia.

Even more now, i feel that this is where i must go for God to nuture me and grow
me in both music and His Word. I feel even so much more strongly why i was given
talent in music. All the more, my desire to be an inspiration to others thru my
music has never been clearer than this! This is exactly what i want my music to be!

I wanna use my gifts in music to inspire ppl, to change the world, to be a world
shaking, history making gift! I wanna be a musician with a conversionist's mindset!
I wanna use this gift of music in the mission field, in the crossover project!

I believe the answer is coming to me very soon. I just need to speak to some impt
ppl and i pray dat God will speak to me thru these ppl. And after i get the answer
from God, i know which ministry i will enrol in :)

I feel greatly inspired now. It's like i see myself up on stage, playing a part in
this huge evangelical music and artistic outreach and i can see thousands upon
thousands of people being touched by the power of the Holy Spirit! And, the greatest
reward of them all, is to see the lost saved through music!

I just wanna quote Pst Jeff Crabtree - Principal, School of Creative Arts, Christian City Church Oxford Falls.
He says, in the SCA Prospectus:

"I HAVE A VISION THAT THE CHURCH BREAKS THROUGH ITS WALLS TO REACH OUT AND
TRANSFORM A BROKEN WORLD..."

And the prospectus goes on to say this:

How will you leave a lasting impression on the world for the
sake of the gospel?

Twenty five years ago, church leaders declared that "rock music was of
the devil". Today the church is hungry for contemporary music in
worship! Tomorrow the church will lead the world in all types of
contemporary art forms. The best of the best performers and creative
artists will be the sons and daughters of the Most High God.

The church will be filled to overflowing with the very best creative
communication - the best theatre, the best dance, the best music, the
best songs, and the best paintings. What is inside the church will burst
outside and beyond its walls, to reach out and transform a broken world!
Art is spiritual - when an anointed, excellent artist performs or creates,
the audience feels an impact that goes beyond just the mind or the
emotions.

Even artists who are far from God still credit the spiritual
dimension in their work. So when an artist with skill is filled with the
presence of the Living God, the result is miraculously powerful.
Some will be tempted to say that you should get a real job, like a doctor, a
teacher, a journalist or an engineer - not realising that the work of God's
anointed artists is EXACTLY to heal, to teach, to bring good news and to
invent.

They will then be tempted to say that the risk is high that you will not
be a successful artist. In financial terms this may be so - although we live
today surrounded by more music, more theatre, more dance, more art and
more creative communication than ever before in history. Arguably the
"entertainment industry" is one of the world�s biggest industries.

However - how do you measure success? Is it in terms of riches or is it in
terms of lives that have been redeemed and transformed for the sake of the
Kingdom of Heaven? Let us take the high ground. Dream bigger - see further.

I just wanna shout out an Amen Hallelujah to this! Indeed i ask myself, how will
I leave a lasting impression on the world for the sake of the Gospel?? Wat will
be my eternal legacy and heavenly reward be like?

I especially acknowledge this part, "Some will be tempted to say that you

teach, to bring good news and to invent."

I mean, this is EXACTLY what i wanna do! To HEAL, To BRING GOOD NEWS, TO INVENT,
TO TEACH! HALLELUJAH!! And then people will say, yeah but what about your
finances??? How are you gonna support urself? your family?!

And i am like, come on.. If God calls you to be a world shaker of a musician,
and He is a God who prospers those who walk in His ways, THEN COME ON!! WHY
SHOULD I FEAR BEING FINANCIALLY INSECURE?! And I know my God shall supply all
my need, according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus! Because He is
JEHOVAH JIREH!! Hallelujah!

And how do we measure success? Is it in riches?? or is it in terms of lives
that have been redeemed and transformed for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven?
Well, you know wat, i wanna take the high ground! I wanna think far! I wanna
think ETERNAL! Because i know my riches do not belong to this earth, but they
are stored up there in heaven, where moth and rust cannot destroy, and where
thieves cannot break in and steal! AMEN HALLELUJAH!

The End Is Near!

Everything seems to be goin really well as regards to my music haha!
Boon Chye is a real genius. Honestly. I mean, i've never known any other
saxophonist or musician who is as hardworking as he is in finding the best
of the best of the best set ups and playabilities. I really respect him for
dat man~ Hands down :D

I think the amount of stuff i've learnt from him is truly invaluable. If i
didnt have him as my saxophone instructor, i think i'd really be losing out
tremendously! So yeah, wanna really thank God for such a good instructor as
he! And he really deserves to be a Yamaha Artist :D

Got lots of things to thank God for :D i had a real good time in Melaka
eating! HAHA! Yeah wah i tell u.. the food there is absolutely superb! Chee
cheong fun, chendol, stingray, oyster.. and so much more! I really ate so much
there man and i gained like 2 kg WAHAHAH! Yeah maybe i should stay there long
term eh? then i'd surely be able to put on weight without resorting to weight
gain supplements hahahah :D Besides the eating, we also did a lot of shopping!
Melaka's got a very good blend of the old and modern~ It's got really good
balance i would say :D And finally, well i got a good dental checkup and all,
couldn't get braces cos it was pointless doing it there BUT, got a good session
of scaling and cleaning and the best part is, I HAVE NO CAVITIES! hahaha! Yeah
man!

And, yeah more good news, i got word that the Usher section IC would be calling
me up very soon so yeah dat is great :D But, i'm like currently a little stuck.
I think i'd have a good word with the section IC and ask for some good advice
regarding my ministry. I also wanna talk to brother Tan Boon again about the
music ministry. Praying dat God will make this whole thing crystal clear at the
end of it all.
