My Name Means Blessed

Oh did i mention dat i finally enrolled into driving school? HAHA! Yeah, thank
God for dat and thank God for my parents who are sponsoring the fees :) It's
not cheap definitely.

Second thing, i've got confirmation on ministry! Thank God for directing me to
Music. I believe that it's gonna be a place where i'm gonna learn many things.

Third, just wanted to mention dat my relationship with my brother has been on
an all time high :D It's been really great. I hope to take it to a higher level
each time :D

Fourth, and as usual with regards to music, hehehe~ Something good came out of
one of the saxophone lessons; some major discovery which is.. well yeah major :)

Lastly, thank God for true friends who really are true! So what is a true
friend? I've learnt today dat a true friend is not afraid to rebuke you
when you're in the wrong and he/she rebukes in private with only the right
motive :)

Honestly, nobody likes to be rebuked right? :D Why is being rebuked not a nice
experience(more often than not)? Well, simply becos it hits the one very thing
in all of us - PRIDE :)

And we all have pride in us.. different degrees of it. It is like a constant
struggle. Somewhat like.. spiritual warfare i would say. It is exactly as wat
Ephesians 6:12 says: 'For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but
against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of
this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.'

Yes, this is sorta becoming my all time favourite verse simply because i can
relate to it very well :D Anyway, yea, as i was saying, when you are rebuked,
it's a pretty humbling experience! And likewise it is hard not to get upset
about being rebuked :) BUT, thru this experience, i've realised dat there's
still alot in me dat's not totally surrendered to God, that i still have pride
in me now and then etc.

So when being rebuked, there's only about two ways i can think of to react to
it. First, is dat when someone rebukes you, you get very defensive and you meet
reply with aggression, and i.e dat is losing control. Second, when someone
rebukes you, you choose to hold back your tongue, control your emotions, and
think about wat the person has to say. Or there's a third way, which is
basically to remain indifferent about it which i think is far worse.

Anyway, i've realised dat gosh.. IT TAKES ALOT TO HUMBLE YOURSELF AND ALLOW
GOD TO SPEAK TO YOU! HAHA! And why is this so?? Because of the constant
spiritual warfare dat is going on in our lives every single moment!

It's like this: Each time we face temptation, or any situation in which our
fronts are open to enemy(satan) attack, a few things happen. The devil
entices us to react in a way which cause us to sin against God, and likewise,
we have the Holy Spirit to warn us about the danger we are in and to discern
between wat's right and wat's wrong. So ultimately, how we react in a
situation betw good and evil, is the measure of the spirituality in our
lives.

I thank God for the strength He gave me in putting down my pride and humbling
myself. And when i humbled myself, only then could God speak to me in a way
dat i found i could readily understand and accept :D So yeah, must thank God
for putting me in a situation where He tests me and i'm happy dat i passed!
WAHAHA!

Yeah, you know.. God really puts us in situations where there are obstacles,
suffering etc.. not to let us suffer, but really, to build us up spiritually!
To make us grow in the likeness of Christ even more! Hallelujah! Cos each time
we face a difficult situation and overcome it, WE GROW!

The book of Proverbs says that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom :) And when you walk in fear of the LORD, He will give you the
strength, and the wisdom in difficult situations, dat you will find a way
out of it! Praise God :)

The Bible also says dat he who humbles himself will be exalted :) So, when we
choose to clothe ourselves in humility every day every moment, when we are at
school or work, or at home, or sleeping.. every single moment, then, we will
walk with meekness in our hearts. And wat is meekness? Meekness is not weakness,
it is CONTROLLED emotion :D And when we walk with meekness in our lives,
certainly, the blessings of heaven are gonna pour down on us! Praise God
Hallelujah :D

I'd like to challenge us, to live a life of humility :D And dat in watever we
do, it is not for our own glory, of which we do not deserve any, but it is all
to God! Let us bear these in mind :D
