Anything You Can Do, I CAN DO TOO!
Was very inspired recently..
First is Nick Vujicic. No arms, no legs.. but wat a miracle.. :)
Then today, i was reminded of him when i read about an article written in pg 16 of the Asia section.
It's about this 28 year old Indian lady called Burla Sujata who became a paraplegic 6 years ago when she got involved in a car accident and lost the use of her legs.
So she became entirely physically dependent on others. And even her scumbag (in my opinion) of a fiance, broke of their engagement. So she was left with nothing at all..
But then she didnt give up on her self, and rebuilt her life by finding something which she could do so independently. Her opportunity came in the form of the Indian stock market.
She began investing, learning from scratch everything about the stock market, finance, business knowledge etc etc.. learning from books, magazines, business tv channels etc~
Right now she earns like up to $11 K a month!! On the average!
And, man i'm like if a paraplegic can achieve dat.. Then i should be able to do dat too! I've got 2 legs man! But dat's besides the point. The point is, this story inspires me cos it just goes to show dat hope is never lost for those who seek it out :)
And our hope lies in Christ cos He is eternal and He never fails :) AMEN :)
Well, recently i opened up a trading account :) And my mum is a really great blessing :)
She blessed me with capital to invest and so yeah i wanna be the best steward i can be :) and make this money grow for great causes :D Yeah i've got great dreams :D Although now is a small humble beginning.. but never despise dat so says the bible ;)
I once prayed to God dat i wanna give Him 4 figure, 5 figure tithes :) Well, i think for starters right now dat i am giving a 3 figure tithe on the low end.. i think it is very very possible dat i could give Him a 3 figure tithe on the HIGH end now :D Well, yeah dat will be one of my goals long term :D Yeah as u can see, i've started planning for 2008 and the upcoming BF already~ and i'm planning for SOT next year too and i have gotta quit my job.. so i was wondering jsut how on earth will i be able to support myself??
Well, i think God has incredible ways of opening doors :) I'm gonna commit all these to Him :D
