Happy Belated Birthday Celebrations Nonetheless~
Wow, how should i blog all dat has happened over the past days.. lemme see.. Alright, first up, i wanna thank you all for making this day in my life so memorable :D You guys are amazing so thank you all for the prayers, the gifts, the congratulatory words, your presence and all. Really appreciate all of these :) You know, i never thought much about my birthday. Even as i grew older, its significance never really mattered to me :) Every year it was pretty much very easy going.
But, i dunno why, this year, i'm really happy for so many reasons. I dun exactly know how to explain. So anyway, let me try to even start... Yes, ok i spent my birthday morning waking up real early at 4am plus to fall in at camp at 0515hrs. Yea, i had a performance at the Swisshotel for some Japanese company. It was cool, i even took a picture with one of the staff working there so dat's nice :D Dat was on the wednesday 12th july.
Then the day after on thursday night, i had a great time talking about music and all, basically just a great time of fellowship with Eigene, Merf and YK at this place near Kovan MRT. Cool place with cool food, but i just cant recall the name. I should visit soon again. It was a great time and i got to know my frens better~ YK, you can do wat you have purposed in your heart :) Just let God lead you to achieve your fullest potential! Merf, thank God your eyes are a lot better :D Good to see you after such a while and thanks for your treat :D solid la bro~ thanks~
And eigene, i'm truly amazed at your knowledge of music. More so, i am even more impressed with your zeal and determination to learn more about music and other things. Awesome la~ you'll go really far in this area :D Keep up the good work, i learnt alot these 2 days hanging out with you and also it was a gd time refreshing my music theory studies hahah! i'm lacking sorely behind.. HA.. needa work at it~
And then came friday, and wow it was a gd day spent~ i spent the later half of the day with eigene, we were exploring music at yamaha PS and yes finally i got a practical lesson of wat you were talking about~ all ur diminished scales and tritone substitution etc :D Really amazing~ Now i see why you're so excited about music! And then yea we went shopping around for clothes. I didnt expect dat really, but yeah we decided anyhow~ So we went around orchard walking around, visiting the Heeren, takashimaya etc.. and can you believe it, it was the first time i stepped into Heeren in a long time and it was the FIRST time i stepped into the Ed Hardy shop.. didnt buy anything but yeah got a good look around the store :D cool! HAHA! Yeah, makes you wonder wat i've been doing and where i've been all this time... Well, been really busy? yeah dat's an understatement.. :P
Anyway yeah, i'm once again amazed at this girl - her size. Yeah, she can fit into Guess Kids' clothes.. i'm like '.....' HAH! It's actually quite fun shopping with a girl. Be it ur mum, ur sis, ur gd fren from church or anywhere else, you get to see how women shop for stuff and understand the psyche behind all of dat. It's something useful for guys to be exposed to.. Well, anyway it's a gd time to fellowship also and yea thanks for sharing with me wat u shared gene :) , it was great talking to you la~ :D Next time if you need a shopping buddy, you can always look for me :) i need to revamp my wardrobe too... haiz.. haha!
Later dat night, it was a birthday celebration at Ivin's at Binjai park~ WAH :) As always, the food was solid la.. some of the best peranakan food ever in singapore~ you gotta try it so much :) It's just so nice to have family and frens gather together and talk and fellowship and catch up with one another :D My aunt and uncle and their children came back from Nepal (they are missionaries there) to celebrate with us. The youngest daughter shares the same birthday as I and it was great :D Then, auntie Chandra came also~ She's also a missionary based in Jordan and it was great hearing the stories she had to tell about the amazing things happening to ppl in the Middle East. God is really moving in her life :) Thank God for dat~
