Goal 2005 Summed Up

  1.       Finish reading my bible within the year. (I think i'd do it way before the year runs out.. :D )

  2.       Manage my finances in a more efficient and prudent way. For example, start saving up a fixed
         amount of $$ each month when i begin work. Dun spend on unnecessary stuff i dun need.

  3.       Attain a certain level of proficiency in my clarinet study. Like for example, master all my major,
         minor scales; get my brain to recognise each note fingering effortlessly; think of music in a more
         clarinetic term~ Yes.. too much sax the past one year or so.. I must try to focus more this year
         on the clarinet.

  4.       Start sightreading more scores!! I'll start with one piece per day :)

  5.       Play my best and worship with all my heart while serving up on stage as a musician in church!

  6.       Get to know more friends better and make new ones in church~

  7.       Be an even better bro-in-Christ to my other siblings-in-Christ! Be more encouraging, more willing
         to listen to others, more accountable and responsible to them.

  8.       Strive to achieve a higher level in my music.

  9.       Strive to grow in Christ from faith to faith, glory to glory, for His glory!

  10.      All in all, in whatever i do, to be more like Jesus :D Yeah i think dat sums up all my goals this
         year~ Dat in watever area in my life, i'd approach it with the mindset of Christ~

Gonna be getting a clarinet reaal soon maybe like in a matter of weeks? at most a month i believe :)

I think i'm very very blessed because i spoke to my mum about it and she agreed to grant me another
loan for the instrument! And i'm not talking about a few hundred dollars but yeah in a manner of
thousands! I doubt most parents would even dare to give their kids so much money to buy an
instrument.. but yeah i am very very fortunate and blessed to have such a supportive mother :D

And yeah, so effectively, dat means i'd be oweing her alot of money which i will pay off in 2 years
time the moment i start work as a regular in the SAF Band~ I havent signed the contract yet
because it needs some time to be approved by the recruitment officer. i'm glad dat God provided me
with the job so dat i can start paying back my mum for wat i owe her~ And also finally, i can
support myself independently! It's like a whole new phase of life for me - to stop being dependant
upon my parents for financial provision anymore~ yeah, dat'll teach me alot i believe :D
