A New Generation Arising

Yesterday's service was truly absolutely fantastic and memorable! Sy Rogers was
extremely funny and captivating! I really respect the guy for who he is.. He is
truly a living example of the power of the living God! If God can transform him
from being a homosexual into a mighty powerful preacher that he is today, then God
can do the impossible in our own lives!

So many of us struggle with all sorts of sins and temptations in our live even after
we become borned again children of God. And so many of us are ashamed of our
shortcomings, confused, fearful, entrapped.. yeah u name it. Sy Rogers really put
into perspective many of the things dat i once perceived; apart from matters
concerning sexuality, also matters that we kinda discriminate against.. Truly,
yesterday was a liberating service. The Holy Spirit was present to set us all free
from our preconceived notions, our bias, our shortcomings.

Sy Rogers came at a time whereby i believe alot of ppl needed to hear just exactly
wat he talked about, matters regarding sexuality and how God views us~ The service
couldnt have been better honestly. Afetr the service, i just felt so assured dat my
God is a merciful Father who'd look beyond all that i once was, all that i am now,
and all dat i will be, to love me unconditionally~ Wow, indeed where the spirit is
there is liberty!

These past few weeks.. well wat can i say eh? The year's coming to an end.. 2004 has
truly been an awesome memorable year! i wun say much yet until it comes closer to
an end.. but yeah wat i wanna sum up is dat 2004 is like a preview of wat's to come
in my life, in the lives of every true dedicated believer and steward in City
Harvest! Indeed, there is no limiting God!

As for me personally, i have grown up so much.. and wow.. i cant believe dat i was
such a different person like 9 months or so ago.. wow.. i believe dat as i
surrender my all to God, He just brings u into an accelerated growth in ur
spiritual walk with Him! From back then till now, the amount at which i have grown
to become truly baffles me so much dat i can only say this: 'Not by might! Not by
power! But by My Spirit says the LORD of Hosts!'

I suddenly just felt so compelled to blog? Becos i know how good God has been to me!
And yeah i just wanna share the following: Ever since i had the vision of becoming
a musician in the SAF, in the church, in the mission field, well guess wat, God has
already answered 1 of them! I am a SAF musician, and VERY SOON, God's gonna answer
part 2 of it! Some day soon, i'll be having an audition with the music ministry :D
and after dat i'll start practising with them soon! See how God's been so good to
me??? Hahaha! Praise Him!

And then, just recently my vision took a turn for the better.. I started having this
reaaally wacky idea - An orchestra to back up the music team and choir during
church service, and on big days like Easter and Christmas, the orchestra will work
closely with the drama team to provide live music for the musical!

And yes it's really really wacky cos i barely have any music experience, i have no
music qualification (right now only!) whatsoever, and i have no experience on how
an orchestra works.. and so many others.. Well, but guess wat, if God put me in the
SAF band, then dat's gotta be something. He's trying to tell me something and as
time goes by, He'll reveal all to me slowly :D

Yeap, dat's my extended vision! As Pst Kong has put into our hearts, the desire for
a new building, well, WE ARE GONNA HAVE DAT BUILDING, AND THERE'S NOTHING THE DEVIL
CAN DO ABOUT IT! Hallelujah!

Yeah, make no mistake about dat one, we gonna have a 10,000 sitter hall! I'm praying
for more seats lah really.. hahahah! And yeah anyway rite, i'm praying about this
vision.. when we move into our new building, we gotta take the music, choir and
drama ministry to a whole new level! I was just picturing an orchestra on stage
together with the music team and choir during worship! Wow! I dun think this vision
came to me for nothing.. :)

In the coming years, i'm gonna have to sought out men and women of faith who share
this same vision as i do. I think when we come together in agreement for the cause
of the Kingdom, God's gonna give it to us! i really wanna find a band of women and
men who are dedicated, faithful and willing to take the risk with me :) men and
women who are bold enough to claim this vision by faith! It seems so daunting the
mere thought of it.. but nothing.. NOTHING is impossible for our God!

I'm praying about this.. and yes i see this orchestra going out into the various
parts of the world as well to touch the lives of many ppl! Spreading the love and
gospel of Christ through our music!
