Goodbye MTV...

Bloggin in a semi-concious state now.. Yea.. now dat sucks.. and i hate school already.. cant believe it's gonna start on monday... hell really.. enough bout it.
So so fast, 1 and a half months of ITP is over just like dat.. 8 weeks.. gosh.. 8 weeks do pass by extremely fast.. seems like only yesterday dat I was marvelling at how awesome our pantry is. i truly enjoyed my stint here and i got to know a lot of really nice folks around~ hm, well when we're gone, they gonna be havin new interns there~ gosh, i'm gonna miss the place.. i know i will.. not only dat but the food around the area and the beancurd.. man.. and oh yea.. the staff party hella rocks! i never had much fun than dat! more imptly though.. the gd peeps there...

Hello Saxophone!

Yea.. if leaving MTV is not so nice.. perhaps the only thing dat will brighten up the day tmrw will be the fact dat i'd finally be able to collect the sax from plaza sing after wat was like 5 days of waiting for a cheque to clear... bloody hell.. i can now bring my whole bag of goodies and accessories dat i'd specially bought for different purposes for the sax, and keep them all in one instrument case~ and if dat's not enough, there's the midday lesson the following day to look forward to! i'm glad dat boon chye lives in CCK. Dat's like 2 neighbourhood districts away~ how accessible~

My New Talent

Well ok.. it's not exactly much of a talent if you consider buzzing on a sax reed to produce a sound.. but dat's wat i've only started doing tonight and at least for the first time, i better understand how the reed works together with the mouthpiece. it's actually quite amazingly easy to blow on the reed with it's tip gently touching the lips, and u get a gd sound by focusing on the tone production~

so i had a helluva time perforating the ear drums of my family members with high pitch shrills and such the whole night~ hm.. they better start gettin used to it. it's ONLY a small lil tiny reed on my lip buzzin away.. wait till the whole saxophone comes into play and then they'll know wat i mean by perforated ear drums~ well, i'll try not to sound like John Coltrane dun worry~

it amazes me how a reed with a tip dat is like wat, 1/100s of a millimetre and it can produce a really strong and loud sound just by buzzin lightly with the lips? dat piece of wood is awesome man~ cant wait to slip one on the mouthpiece and start practising! However, i'm a gd student and i take gd advice. and i've been told not to remove the sax from its case once i get teh instrument. hm, dats becos i'm too damn itchin to wanna play with it badly and the instructor knows dat if i pick up the sax wrongly, i could cause some serious damage wat with key posts and rods shifting.. it can get to the point where the alignment is so off dat you cant get the horn back in tune again.. and wat happens then? yes 4 freakin thousand dollars down the drain! just like dat, *finger snap*~ so yea, i should learn to control my.. uhem.. lust for sax and just take gd advice~ after all i think i can hold out for just one day....just one...
