Advice Needed

I need advice. From preferably people who have the knowledge of wat i'm gonna be askin for. Can someone give me any advice on pursuing a music education? anything at all dat will be useful for someone like me who knows little and who's unfamiliar with many things. Does anyone have friends or family who have pursued music and have experiences to share etc?

i've been reading up on lots of stuff, from instrument perspective to music schools abroad etc etc but i know dat there's more dat i should know. anybody can advise on this? got contacts?
