American Idol & the US Presidential Elections

awesome is an understatement. dun think dat there'll be anything quite like this. as much as i felt dat clay should have won, i think reuben had as much right to the crown. And to think dat with a total of 24 freakin million votes, only 130000 separated these 2. both of them are winners in their own right. and yea the finals arent bout the winning anymore becos it doesnt matter. these two have proved beyond a doubt that they deserve to become american idols.

and it's very much like the presidential elections aint it? but then again not so.. would u have seen bush and al gore embrace like dat on stage?? hell no way man..
and wat the heck, i believe more ppl give a damn about voting in american idol than they do the presidential elections. And i think ratings for American Idol will surpass dat of the elections.

some things to ponder over...

1. There was no recount at 130000 votes out of 24 million.
2. Bush and Gore's demands over recounting the vote difference is a real darn shame. some kinda vote difference they had..
3. Clay Aiken had women hold up signs and boards which read "MARRY ME!!!". As for gore, no way man...
3. I dun think anybody would wanna hug george w bush the way they do reuben studdard~
4. Reuben Studdard has great talent. george w bush? none.
5. If only the presidential elections process was like that of American Idol. Dat way, the prob of bush could have been nipped in the butt at the very beginning :)
6. Even as runner-up, Clay got himself a record deal. al gore just quit. if i remember rightly, he conceded.
7. reuben and clay ended up being the biggest winners. bush and gore? losers
8. al gore might return to politics and try running for president. Clay doesnt need to go thru AI again to get a record deal~
9. who knows? reuben might run for president~ he might get the ppl's vote~ but we dun ever wanna see bush come anywhere near american idol :)
