Beautiful In My Eyes

Beautiful in My Eyes
Kadison Joshua

You're my piece of mind,
In this crazy world.
Your're everything I've tried to find,
Your love is a pearl.

You're my Mona Lisa, you're my rainbow skies,
And my only prayer, is that you realize,
You'll always be beautiful, in my eyes.

The world will turn,
And the seasons will change.
And all the lessons we will learn,
Will be beautiful and strange.

We'll have our fill of tears, our share of sighs.
My only prayer, is that you realize.
You'll always be beautiful, in my eyes.

You will always be, beautiful in my eyes.
And the passing years will show,
That you will always grow,
Evermore beautiful, in my eyes.

And there are lines upon my face,
From a lifetime of smiles.
But when the time comes to embrace.
For one long last while.

We can laugh about it, how time really flies.
We won't say goodbye, 'cause true-love never dies.
You'll always be beautiful, in my eyes.

You will always be, beautiful in my eyes.
And the passing years will show,
That you will always grow,
Evermore beautiful, in my eyes.

The passing years will show,
That you will always grow,
Evermore beautiful, in my eyes.

The passing years will show,
That you will always grow,
Evermore beautiful, in my eyes.

I heard this song on the radio today while i was out on the road and i've always wanted to know what this song was about cos now and then it popped up on the airwaves..

So i took a mental note of the lyrics and did a search online when i got home and WOW! I love this song and even more so the lyrics!

This is the kind of song which lyrics every man must say to his wife from the bottom of his heart :)

I think one of the nicest things a guy can ever say to his girl is that no matter what, she is and will be the most beautiful in his eyes amen? haha :D

I especially like this part:

We'll have our fill of tears, our share of sighs.

My only prayer, is that you realize.
You'll always be beautiful, in my eyes.

Reason is cos to me, it shows commitment :)

No matter whatever ups and downs we go through, until we grow old with wrinkles, until we embrace for one last time before we die, we'll never say goodbye, we'll still say i love you and dat you will always be beautiful in my eyes..

Wow.. now dat IS something :) I know couples who have been married 20, 30, right up to 50 years or more.. :) And they are still going strong! My parents themselves have already been married for 20 over years now.. :) And even though they still quarrel and fight with each other, bite each others' heads off sometimes, they still remain married :)

How do they do it u ask? Well, i think it really takes a lot of love, alot of patience, a lot of commitment, a lot of communication :) A LOT of em :) And i think my parents really love each other ;)

I think my parents taught us well. My bro himself has been together with the same girl for like the past 4-5 years.. :) And there's no sign they are ending up apart :) And mind you, my brother isn't exactly saved yet.. :) But dat's not the point.

There's something about our parents' generation... something which they caught dat somehow forever altered the way they look at love and marriage.. And this has now diminished in our generation. In our age, people can come up with stuff like pre-nuptial agreements, or divorce due to irreconcilable differences and wat not. Divorce was like taboo in our parents' generation.. And rightfully so, cos the bible discourages it as well :) But in today's times, marriage and divorce are taken so lightly..

God created man and woman, that they may become one flesh, never to be separated.

I dunno how they did it.. but my siblings and i grew up in a culture and environment whereby we were taught the meaning of the word commitment :) It was never forcefully or purposefully put upon us.. but over time, it just sort of built itself layer upon layer into our lives.. it's almost like anointing or revelation. It's not taught, it is caught.. :)

And thank God i think we caught it pretty good :D

The reason why i am pretty much single now..(HAHA!).. is cos i've quit playing games a long long time ago :) (Read Joshua Harris' Boy Meets Girl and you'll understand what i mean.)

And so, yeah i am definitely looking forward to the day when i will look into the eyes of my future wife (whoever she may be), from the time we first get together, then get married, have kids, grow old together.. and tell her from the bottom of my heart, that she will always be and continue to be beautiful in my eyes :)
