Agreement = Synergy = Power
This post comes two days late.. BUT nonetheless..
I attended one of the Aircrew Fellowship meetings on tuesday, the first in 2009, and i am so glad i did :) It was like a CG meeting~ And i felt like i was a new fren there, but only for a while because many of them came up to me and talked to me and made me feel at home~
Pst Derek's wife Susan is the leader over the fellowship and she came up to me to talk as well. And this is the first time i spoke to her. She is really calm and gentle, but all that changed when she preached a really good word!
She had the kinda motherly touch and yet her words carried lots of authority :) When she spoke, everyone listened ;) And i was really impacted by wat she shared to the entire group.
The topic was make love a priority in 2009 :) About starting off our year on the right foundation and motivation of love - for God, for ourselves, and for others :) perfect great commandment to start the beginning of a great year ahead :)
And the one thing dat impacted me was this - You have to make loving urself a priority. Why? Because, YOU CAN NEVER RUN AWAY FROM YOURSELF... ;)
WOW.. i've never ever thought about dat.. i know you can never run away from God.. BUT running away from urself! Wow... so if u have issues with yourself.. hmm :) I can never run away from myself :) i gotta accept who i am, just as God has accepted me and paid the price for me :)
The place of agreement is the place of power :) When we are in agreement with ourselves, our life becomes exciting. It becomes easier, because we are not going against the grain, we are in the flow, in harmony :) And when we are in agreement with ourselves, we become a whole lot happier in life :)
Many ppl are dissatisfied with life because they fight themselves, they try to be somebody that they are not :) So they can't learn to accept the gifts they have, they wanna pursue things which they were never called to do :) They can't accept the way they look because they wanna look like their fav megastar or something :) etc etc.
And life becomes tough when you and yourself are '8 words unmatched' aka 'Ba Zi Bu He' :) You'll make loads of wrong decisions in life. Bible says a house divided against itself will not stand :) Dat's the same with our lives.
So yeah, be in agreement with urself. Accept urself. Forgive urself. Love urself.
Our love's gotta be build upon our love for God as the foundation. Then comes loving ourself, and out of that love, an overflow to love others :) Dat way there will be balance~ And when the foundation is right, everything falls into place :)
If you ever wondered how can ONE man change the entire world? Wonder no further, ONE can be a majority :) And it all begins by coming into agreement with urself ;)
