Roadmap To Korean

생각이바뀌면 행동이바뀌고
행동이바뀌면 온명이바뀐다

saeng-kak-ee ba-kkwee-myawn, haeng-dong-ee ba-kkwee-go;
haeng-dong-ee ba-kkwee-myawn, oon-myawng-ee ba-kkween-da.

If your thoughts change, your behaviour will follow suit;
if your behaviour changes, your destiny will follow suit.

I got this idiom from this book which i bought from Kinokuniya at Takashimaya shopping centre~ Yeah, i havent been to that bookstore for quite sometime but i did on sunday and wow i am glad i did cos i found ALOT of resources for the Korean language.

I was in town after svc with some of us from cg and Shirley was with me at Kino. We were looking, or rather i wanted to get a Korean language book. So when we were at the Korean language section, there were 2 Korean girls, students i presume who were also browsing.. and i guess they were looking for some resources for a friend and they spoke really well :) Not to mention dat they were really pretty! Ok back to the topic..

Found a really good Korean-English dictionary which will come in real handy someday~ But didnt buy it though. Didnt wanna spend beyond the budget for the day~ So i decided on this book instead! And i am NOT disappointed! The questions and complications i come across while studying this language will be discussed in this book i bought and there's nothing like this book which really delves into the deep innards of the complications of the language! Really got my money's worth :D

Anyway, yeah..

If your thoughts change, your behaviour will follow suit;
if your behaviour changes, your destiny will follow suit.

No wonder pastor always says dat our lives will never change until our THINKING changes :) Absolutely true~ In fact, i think this (learning korean) will be one of my new year resolutions for next year~ Yeah, i've already come up with a battle plan :D HEE!

Well i speak to you regarding this language, yep specially to you :) Many ppl say it's hard to learn any language. Well yeah true to an extent, but your thinking towards the challenge has gotta change, dat's all. Once your thinking changes, then you gotta take concrete steps towards learning it, and then you will see results. So if you think you can't master this language, well, i say to you, think again ;) So, GO FOR IT! Or as the Koreans would say.. 아자(AJA)!

Great great, ok, once the building fund period is almost over, i'll concentrate a portion of my finances into taking language classes~ Wonderful :) Man.. i've even dabbled with the idea of going over to Korea to study the language for bout 1 or 2 years. I'm pretty dead serious bout this actually.. Yeah, i am. In the meantime, i'm gonna indulge in some language study~ It's quite sadistically sick in a sense dat you really gotta squeeze out gallons of brain juice for this. But yeah the 'sicker' part is i'm willing to subject myself to this kinda linguistic torture..
