Here In Brunei Day 1
Hey all!!!! hahahaha! yes here i am in Brunei and i'm great! Time now is about 0010hrs and here i am in the quiet of the hotel lobby tapping into the wireless network using a laptop from a good fren of mine here in the band :D
Wow well i must say first of all dat it is NOT AT ALL too bad here in Brunei. It's pretty much like malaysia but with road signs very similar to singapore... yeah can picture dat? nvm.. well anyway, we took an SQ flight here to Brunei and reached around 1110hours. The hotel they put us up in is called Orchid Garden Hotel. i didnt know it till like later while actually cos our superiors kept calling it OGH and to me, OGH sounded like some medical hospital...
HAH well anyway, the hotel is SUPERB :D i'm very satisfied, honestly! And yeah our meals are like buffet style AND man... i was eating like a king here! honestly, the food is totally awesome la! the only thing i'm afraid is dat i'd probably get sick of all the good food... yeah.. i mean, we had desserts like cheese cake, choc eclaires, pudding, local savouries etc etc and for food we had an awesome variety of food to eat! I cant wait for breakfast tmrw hahah!
Well, ok we gonna be doing some work.. yeah some.. tmrw. Think it's gonna be rehearsing for the coming street parade this sunday. It'll be abou a 3km route march while playing an assortment of march pieces which we have chosen as well as the Bruneian local march compositions. Should be pretty interesting and there's also quite interesting sights to see~
Earlier during the night, we had a mini tour around the immediate area, visiting the main shopping district in the Gadong area and also doing so recce-ing for our street parade along Jalan Bendahara. Very interesting and since it is the Sultan's birthday, the whole place is decorated with lights and mroe lights so it's quite nice :) I took so pics of the grand palace and night market etc~ i'll upload when i get back to s'pore cos i dun have the necessary equipment here :D
Well, i'm kinda enjoying myself here~ Quite unexpected actually cos i seriously thought it's gonna be drop dead boring BUT i was wrong :) So yeah... BUT DAT DOESNT CHANGE THE FACT THAT I STILL MISS YOU ALL!! :D HAHAHAHAAH! So yeah, well i'll try to update as much as i can while here~ time now is about 0023hrs. I'll be falling in tmrw morning for breakfast around 0630hrs and then after dat a new day begins :)
So, yeah don't worry about me guys :) i'm doing fine and yeah you all take gd care too! Will be missing you all still, God bless y'all!
