Hooting Harmonicas Part II

Went to Swee Lee Music today. Wanted to get a cheap chromatic harmonica for the brother
but they didnt have any China made brands.. so all the harmonicas there were in the range
of like $100 plus and were intermediate or professional chromonicas. So anyway, i saw the
super 64 Hohner model which is the silver one below, and i also saw this other model which
i'm seriously considering. The silver one below in the previous post will cost about $185 while
this plexiglass gold-plated one will cost me bout $300 plus~ The Hohner website describes
this chromonica as such:

7584/64 Super 64X Chromonica

This harmonica's Plexiglas body with gold-plated slide assembly and double thick reedplates
provide the player with excellent dynamics and reed response. Special Super 64X design and
construction helps to ensure optimum tuning and airflow balance.

Haha~ yeah so i've now got a choice between two pretty damn good chromonicas. Had a feel
of them today and they are heavy man! Wow i think about 400-500 grammes.. i guess it's
because of the material and also to allow the instrument to vibrate properly~ stronger resonance
i guess~

So i told the dad about it and he was like 'maybe i should get one too' haha! cool man, he's the
one who plays guitar, piano and harmonica~ and my younger bro picks up after him in harmonica~
the elder sis plays keyboard and i do drums, sax and blah blah blah so yeah dat's where the
musical influence runs in the family, courtesy of my great dad~
