Arpeggios

Man.. into my third arpeggio and it's already not easy~ especially those arpeggios
like Bb/A# major and A# minor which you have to switch from main keys to side
keys and back again.. those are the most challenging.. but it's definitely great
technique trainin and trains you to switch fast and clean~ gonna try to do all at
90bpm in triplets instead of the usual 4/4.

(Updated)

Okie, so here i am after like 6 plus hours of practice and i've managed to hit 12
arpeggios at the targeted tempo of 90bpm~ dats a very gd sign...~ it only means
one thing... I CAN DO A HELL LOT BETTER! :D At 90bpm, playing triplets is a whole
lot more tricky than the straight 4/4 at 120bpm or 150bpm. my fingers gotta learn
how to adapt to a different syncopation. playing triplets at 90bpm is like playing
quavers or 8th notes at 140-150bpm, only slightly more confusing cos it's easier
to lose the focus.

so far, the only difficult set of arpeggios i've encountered are the ones in
Bbmaj / A#min and Ebmaj/D#min. these four are the challenging ones especially
Bbmaj because of the switch in.. basically ALL of the notes involved..

it's crazy right hand finger switching cos u go from side Bb DOWN & ACROSS to
main D, then to main F with the index finger still on F key, and then from main
key F u have to make a quick switch BACK UP & ACROSS to side Bb again!
requires the utmost coordination from the right hand fingers~ and when you
complete a whole ascending and descending scale, u will see how these pains
come into effect and makes the arpeggio difficult. cos...

From next octave side Bb, you must go straight ACROSS to main F, then two
fingers close down to get D, and the best part... from D you go BACK UP to
side Bb again to complete the whole arpeggio scale.
