Marriage and The No Child Policy

For once in a long while, i'm starting a blog entry without any sax in it~ was just talkin to a fren online about marriage and my no child policy. well, i dun think i'd like to get married anywhere in the next comin 10 years or so. ok make that 15. i just dun feel or see the need to. marriage is abit far off, let's talk about relationships. i dun even see the need right now for one. I dun think it's beneficial in anyway and besides i dun need one :)

i'm pretty happily contented with wat i have. To say dat my life is is more impt than anything else is well yea true. And music to me is synonymous with life and happiness. i've got music, i've got happiness, i've got life. i am one helluva contented son of a bitch :) seriously, in my life now, nothin else is impt. perhaps they should have a music monastery or sumthin where ppl devote themselves totally to music and naught else. i'd gladly sign up :) a person once said, "if u have all dat you want in life, you dun need anything else". i second dat.

As for my no child policy, well, no r/s = no marriage = no children. haha but ok, the reason being i think this world sucks somewhat, the ppl around suck. some at least. i'd rather not bring any life into such a place. i'd rather suffer alone, by myself, get shit splattered across my face than to have my flesh and blood succumbed to it.

well they say but how can you know wat will happen in the future? well yea dat i agree, and i dun profess to know the future at the tip of my fingers becos i dun. my mind could change the next minute, tmrw, years.. or it may not at all. but i'm not worried. hell, no i dun even care about wat will happen later on. all i know about the future 5, 10, 15 years down the road, is dat i'm takin my music to as high as possible, doin the things i feel most meaningful and pushin the limits of my ability. to me, dat is my future, dat is my tmrw, dat's my reality.

Right now thinkin back, i'm actually amazed at how ppl can stay in a relationship. some just go in and out of one and in again, a different one dat kinda thing, and u fight u scream u kill.. like for fuck man.. i'd rather spend all dat time and energy in a better way. invest in sumthin dat has more meaning than the mundane shit u get in relationships. at least, at the end of the day, all the effort i invested in that, would definitely result in due gain and it's definitely alot more worth my time. you only have one life, live it well. i choose to invest my time into something dat will definitely reap great rewards for me.
Marriage? Relationships? dun give 2 fucks about it~

Lebayle Matte Gold Plated Studio Cut

This is a gem of a mouthpiece~ so beautiful! i just got it for a well spent $170 :) i'm damn happy with this~ although it has a pretty short facing length which is quite difficult to control, it gives a really bright sound to the sax~ dat's why i love it~ talk about sound, it was today that boon chye and i witnessed are sharp increase in the quality of my tone after bout 1 1/2 hours of experimenting with embouchure and positionin. man i feel so damn comfortable with the new position and grip. i think i'm gettin a really good hang of this~ just a few points to note:

1. Dun tense and bite lower lip into reed!
2. Dun bite beyond or before area of play!
3. Relax and maintain firm embouchure!
4. Maintain open throat concept!
5. Use diaphragm to control air stream!
6. Be confident in executing passages!

Finally managed to bring down the sax to plaza sing again for a final retune after a pad resitting. and boy, now the sax plays low Bb, low B and such with great ease! i think the next thing i'm gonna invest in is another box of trad 2.5 reeds, a box of ZZ 3 reeds, and perhaps V16 2.5s later on. more so, i wanna get a new gadget by Runyon products, this amazing, small but great little innovation called the Low C# Extension Key.

I'd manage to talk to this great guy from the US, Paul R. Coats from the Sax On The Web website. A well known figure among the saxophonist world, this guy was nice enough to provide me pictures on how the product looked like when installed. I printed them out and gave a copy of all the pics to boon chye who'd ask Accent Music to bring in some. i wonder how much it would cost here, the website quotes this product at about US$76. Hopefully, i can get a chance to try it out before deciding to get it~
