I Hate The Damn Flu!!!!!!!!!

If there's one thing i absolutely hate right now, it is the fuckin flu virus. I absolutely hate gettin it especially this morning cos i just disrupts my focus and concentration. it hampers my learning during lesson, i cant fuckin blow the sax with mucus flowing down my nostrils like water tap. i fuckin wanna scream. today's lesson was great. there was a marked improvement in my tone which is a gd sign. made a major decision today as well. i decided after further thought, to give up taking the theory exam because it would really demand alot from me. however, doesnt mean dat i'm givin theory up. i'm still gonna be doin lots of theory, just dat i'm foregoing the classical exams. furthermore, since i'll be playing anything but classical, it didnt make sense for me to devote my time and focus into trainin for a classical exam when i could use the time and go towards the jazz direction. having the the cert would look pretty gd on me but since i'm gonna be auditioning for jazz studies, the classical cert wudnt help much since i'd be judged according to my ability to improvise. so i thought, yea dats no point.

And because i decided on dat, i'll be having to get a metal mouthpiece dat would be fit for jazz pop etc and after listenin to bout 4 or 5 cds from boon chye, i decided on the kind of sound i'd pursue. and the hell i cant write properly because of the damn flu and its cloggin my mind up.. AGHAARGHARGHGARHGARH!!!!!!
ok, another really fucked up thing today happened at swee lee, i bought a whole box of V16 reeds and the fucker charged me like list price 34 bucks.. bloody hell i was only supposed to have paid 27. i will never get his service again fuck... fuck man.. i didnt know why i didnt open my mouth then.. must be the fuckin flu again, i cudnt even think properly and i was damn hungry. this is one of those other times where i just let my words loose and dun give quite a damn about it cos it makes me feel alot better swearing all these out.

The Improperly Seated F# Pad

Before dat, i was at PS again having the sax checked out for leaks because i did a check with a leak light i made myself and found light escaping thru the tone holes. this time round, it was a diff tech and i trust this tech more than the first one. he seems to know wat he's doin better. he found out dat my F# pad was like improperly seated, makin it lopsided, which was the reason why it could not seal the tone hole properly. He couldnt do anyting there and then, and told me to bring it to the main service centre all the way down at Meiban Industrial Building at ubi road payar lebar to get the pad seated properly. dat's alot of hassle but no choice at all. after the reseating is done, gotta get him to fine tune the tension and clear the babe for leaks again. however, he did his best by makin the sax as best playable as possible. and i could definitely feel the difference in the key action. it was damn solid~ cant wait to get the sax done. i'm off to search for the mouthpiece.
