Beats, Rhythms, Metronomes and Music Stands

I seriously had no freakin idea dat metronomes cost SO MUCH... almost as much as a mouthpiece... but dat's wat u get for quality as good the Seiko SQ-100-88 Metronome. This baby's solid man~ i can play around with the number of beats 30-250, the type of rhythm, the pitch and so on~ lots more stuff i've yet to play with~

In the past i used to have this thing about music stands.. i never thought i'll be using them for wat they are supposed to be used for today... :) dat's right puttin music on it to READ and PLAY... along with the METRONOME.. boy this is the day man...~

Playing The Saxophone (book 2)

This is THE book~ according to the instructor, it's my passport to paradise~ watever dat may mean~ hahaha! wah lau, this joker caught me by surprise totally.. made ('forced') me to play classical etudes.. grade 3/4 classical etudes.. this particular one titled "Prologue to Orfeo" by Claudio Monterverdi (1567-1643). I honestly didnt think the least bit dat i was up to it.. seriously.. it must have been history in the making. i actually played a pieec of music the musical way, and it was a classical piece even. amazing, it's only been 4 lessons man.... and the hell i'm supposed to be playin a classical piece without fault! honestly, i'm beginnin to feel the kinda intensity dat boon chye's been tellin me about. funny cos someone keeps tellin u, hey this is gonna be crazy, we are gonna be attempting the almost impossible. and there you go nodding away without any darn idea of wat he's tryin to tell you. Now, i'm gettin the picture~ i really wonder wat's on the menu next saturday...
