Adaptation

Quoting myself: so can i adapt to this metal mp within 4 lessons? u know wat, i dun think i can... i KNOW I CAN and I WILL adapt to the damn thing :)

i thought it was a great lesson today. never been better, embouchure was perfect, the notes came out beautiful on the metal mp. There are but a few things to note and dat is the relationship betw the air support and embouchure grip. as for dat, i gotta adjust the grip accordingly to the air stream to make sure my air flow is consistant. i tried the different notes and held them long for 2, 3, 4 beats long and it was gd stuff.

at the end of today's hour long lesson, boon chye gave me the green light to carry on with my buzzing on the metal mp. dat's an achievement!! so, i've got another 3 lessons more to prove dat i can fully adapt to it. this is a huge milestone leap for me. barely 2 months and i have switched from an ebonite mp to a metal mp, whereas some who have played for years still cant play on a metal mouthpiece. i think even i am too damn amazed at wat i have just achieved, i think i just blew my mind off.

i'm gonna have to remove all dat sticky crap on the mouthpiece guard.. i had the black patch removed and the sound is more open now. off for now.
