Light Of The World 世の光

Here is something i was meditating over Q.T. Matthew 5:14-16. And suddenly i got a real urge to put it down in Japanese.


１４あなたがたは世の光です。 丘の上にある町は、夜になると灯が点り、だれにもよく見えるようになります。 １５ あなたがたの光を隠してはいけません。 すべての人のために輝かせなさい。１６ だれにも見えるように、あなたがたの良い行ないを輝かせなさい。 そうすれば、人々がそれを見て、天におられるあなたがたの父を、褒め称えるようになるのです。


And in romanized script so that you can understand wat is being said:

14) Anatagata wa yo no hikari desu. Oka no ue ni aru machi wa, yoru ni naru to hi ga tomori, dare ni mo mieru you ni narimasu.
15) Anatagata no hikari wo kakushite wa ikemasen. Subete no hito no tameni kagayakasenasai.
16) Dare ni mo mieru youni, anatagata no yoi okonai wo kagayakasenasai. Sou sureba, hitobito ga sore wo mite, ten ni orareru anatagata no chichi wo, hometataeru youni naru no desu.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.



Yea, how true this is :) let you light shine before men~ I will let my light shine before men this coming week as i sit for my mid term examination! Yeah! God, may You be glorified in my test results!
