His Passion, My Redemption

Just came back from an Easter service at Zhong Fa and Si Er's church Westside Anglican Church.
After dat we all went for supper and caught a midnite movie The Passion Of The Christ. It's my
second time watching it... and watching it again.. well it only reinforces my faith in Him.. cos even
at my darkest most washed up moment, He never did forsake me.. He never did turn His back on
me.. and He NEVER loved me any lesser!

Bout a week ago, I surrendered my life to Christ. For once in my life, once in all my 19 years of
wasted youth.. i've finally understood wat it meant for Christ to die on the cross, nailing together
with him my death sentence so dat i'll NEVER EVER HAVE TO FACE ETERNAL DEATH EVER AGAIN!!
With His death, He brought me LIFE!! Why did He have to do it? He certainly had the divine power
to end his bloodshed, to come down from the cross as he was taunted to, but He knew.. He knew
the will of His Father in heaven - dat His suffering and death would bring about acceptance,
forgiveness, reconcialiation, healing, abundance, blessing, a NEW MAN AND ETERNAL LIFE!

Jesus, i've learnt, has always always loved me.. and His love never changed any bit at all..
no more no less.. All i had to do, was to understand why He died for me, and believe in Him
and receive Him by faith! Miraculously, by His Amazing Grace, my eyes have been opened! I
was once blind but now I see.. FOR 19 WASTED YEARS, i was heading nowhere.. All my
dreams, my aspirations, my talents and my passion.. didnt bring me any real happiness.. My
life was a sinful wreck.. deep down i was in search of a comfort, a yearning for love, a life,
an acceptance.. I've finally found all these in the Lord :D

I'm no more the benedict david of the old.. for my old self has been crucified with Christ at
the Cross of Calvary. For in Christ, I AM A NEW MAN! My purpose in life has so much mroe
meaning! My perspectives have switched 180 degrees. I now know what it means to have
a life! i've never felt so happy in my life! Understanding wat Christ did for me and accepting
Him by faith is the greatest thing dat has ever happened to me and will ever happen to me!

By His blood, i am no more in the bondage of satan. I AM NOW IN THE BONDAGE OF CHRIST!
I AM A SLAVE FOR THE LORD JESUS! i cannot wait for death to come! Because death, is the
beginning of ETERNITY! ETERNAL LIFE WITH GOD! I can now declare dat i am not afraid of
death at all! Simply because i know, i have eternal life with my Father in heaven.

Christ did the impossible, He conquered death when he rose from the dead 3 days after His
death on the cross. Death has no power against my Lord! And death has no power over me!
Death can take my body away, my body, my shell will rot and become dust once again, but my
spirit WILL LIVE ON WITH CHRIST! AMEN!!!

However, my time is definitely not up yet. God has great plans for me.. God has much use for
me to do His bidding and his work. This world is truly a sick world.. This world cannot survive
on its on strength. This world WILL END someday.. but the kingdom of God is FOREVER. We
need help, all of us need a Saviour, because we are full of wickedness and sin. We cannot
save ourselves from eternal death in hell. The man who tries to save his life WILL LOSE IT..
We need Christ.. we all need Christ.. for without God, Man is NOTHING.

Thank You for the cross Lord,
Thank You for the price You paid.
