Practice Makes Perfect~
I've got a test tmrw and i've got a list of 56 verbs (dat's wat i call 많이있어![mani iseo!]) which will be potential questions for tmrw... considering i only got the list yesterday, i think i REALLY needa get down to study, practice my typing skills at the same time :)
So far, each test each week's been nothing short of FANTASTIC! Been ace-ing every single one of them so far.. Yeap it's a 100% or nothing.. nothing less than a perfect score :) Thank God, thus far i've aced with flying colours except for one single test where i had 2 wrong answers (of which 2 words i shall NEVER forget) :P

Thank God for capacity man... i've NEVER had the ability to memorise and internalise so many new things at one go :) It's like my mind is growing sharper and sharper, ever more ready to devour more knowledge ;) awesome!
Anyway, God has placed 2 incredible ppl in my life recently :) Got introduced to 2 very wonderful Korean friends through one of my classmates. One's a housewife with 2 children whose eldest is 17 years old and she DOESN'T look like she has a 17 year old child! I initially thougth her children were prescholars or primary school.. i was pleasantly shocked haha! The other girl is a student here studying English and she has an elder sister who is a TRANSLATOR and married to a Singaporean guy.
Well, thanks for MSN, i have been practising my conversational skills with my classmates and my new korean frens :D haha! Very very interesting i must say :P But i find dat as i go on, my understanding of the language, and the boldness to speak it increases. All language students who first start learning often face the similar problem of not daring to speak or converse in the language.
In my case, sometimes i just go blank, or it's because i don't know how to phrase my words and intentions in Korean properly for fear of accidently offending the other party with wrong use of words or even just sounding stupid which i think is a very common reason. But, i'm learning to break out of my shell, or some would call it the outer man.. HAHAH! Yeah, thanks to SOTM series by Pst Kong~
Well, yesterday's lesson was quite a leap from the last one.. things have gotten a little more challenging right now hehe..we got exposed to the formal polite form of verb conjugation, the locative particle and yes verbs...
BUT as always, i learnt something new and very enlightening again. The word - 맛없다 [ma-deop-ta]. Initially, i thought one would pronounce it as 'ma-seop-ta' cos the 'ㅅ' in the first word is an 's' kinda sound. But when it meets the 2nd word, the 's' sound becomes a 'd' sound. Weird huh? Yeah, but dat's just the way the language is~ And dat is the exact reason why i chose to start from elementary 1 instead of skipping levels.. Cos if you think you know it all, well THINK AGAIN :)

Yeap, this is Jay aka Mi Jung :) She's really fun to talk with and a very funny cute girl. She makes all of us laugh with her anecdotes.
This is Jennifer. She's the housewife with 2 kids ages 17 and 15.. I TOLD YOU she doesnt look like she has 2 kids in their mid-teens?! Well apparently, the last time the girls met up with jenn and jay, they asked them how they maintained such beautiful facial complexions! And, guess wat the answer was: Soap and water..... RIGHT...... I bet the whole female population here just went green..
